Florida Notary Renewal Applicants
 

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL APPLICANTS! Please be advised that in processing your applications, for strict security and to protect your information, we submit your data electronically directly to the Department of State and your applications are sent to the Department of State via Fedex.

This is the first time I am renewing my Notary Commission- do I need to complete the Online Education Course? No. Only First time applicants must complete the course, however, the course is very informative and can be used as a review for your Notarial Service.

My Notary Commission expired several years ago, will I have to complete the Online Education Course? The State specifies that if you have not renewed your Commission within ten years, you must complete the Online Education Course Click here for the Online education Course .

No. Even if your commission has expired you will not have to complete the Ed. Course; simply complete your application and submit to us along with your renewal payment.

What does it cost to Renew a Notary Public Commission? With our service the total cost depends on your choice of Packages on the Order Page. The price os the Package includes all of your State Filing Fees, and Premium for your Notary Bond as required by the State and your choice of your Notary Seal- That is your total cost!

What happens once I complete the application and mail it to you? We are processing our applications within 24-48 hours after we receive it from you and depending on the USPS delivery time, you should have your complete notary package within 2-3 weeks (We also have an Express Service which will guarantee your Notary Seal in 7-10 business days via Fedex). You will receive two packages: your stamp/seal and embosser is mailed directly from the manufacturer for the fastest service and your Certificate and Notary package is mail from our facility immediately upon receipt from the State.

The Bonding Agency I used is no longer in business, Can I still renew my Notary through you? Absolutely! Who you renew your Notary Commission through is your choice- we are a customer driven company and that means that not only do we offer an excellent product, we also offer some of the most competitive prices for our service and the best customer service.

Why am I getting so much advertisments in the mail to renew my Notary Commission? Our service as a State Authorized Bonding Agency, is very competitive. We are one of several agencies who transmit your Notary application to the Florida Dept of State, Division of Corporations Notary Commissions.  

How soon before my Notary Commision expires should I apply to renew? You may renew your Notary Commission upto 160 Days before expiration.

I am not sure when my Notary Commision expired or what my Commission number was, is that a problem? No. if you do not remember this information, simply write that in the application where it asks you your Prior Notary information.

Why can't I submit my own application and renew directly with the State? The State has a list of authorized Bonding Agencies who transmit your application electronically and then submit it. We provide the State and you with this service.

If I had a Felony Conviction and was approved, must I go through the same process for my Renewal? Yes, unfortunately, the Governor's Office must approve your application- we strongly recommend that you submit your application atleast 4 months in advance to ensure your commission renews prior to the expiration.

Why is E&O Insurance so important? Your E&O (Errors & Omissions) Insurance provides coverage not limited to legal fees but damages in the event that you are blamed for any Notarial act that your perform. (Whether right or wrong if you are sued, you will have to go to court to defend yourself!) I need my Notary Commission renewed right away because of my employment- How fast can I get it? We provide express service and you will receive your Notary Seal within 7-10 business days! Depending on the schedule of the State, if we receive your application we can begin to process your order.

I believe my stamp was stolen do I need to notify you? If your stamp was stolen and you feel that someone may be able to use and sign your name you will be responsible! You will need to contact your local Law Enforncement Authority and make a police report and issue a letter addressed to the Department of State, Notary Commissions and Certifications Section.
